There are three main types: ectomorphs are naturally slim and find it hard to gain weight; mesomorphs are muscular and athletic, gaining muscle easily; and endomorphs are softer or curvier, often storing fat more easily.
Many women are most familiar with terms like petite (smaller stature, often shorter and slimmer), medium (average build with balanced proportions), curve (fuller bust, hips, or thighs with a defined waist), and plus-size (larger overall proportions, with softer curves).
